Poetic
License To Kill
By K.B. Tobin

Someone is murdering the top poets in Portland, Oregon. When retired executive, now stay-at-home poet, Laura Ryan and her teenage daughter Zoe Chang try to help police investigate a suspicious death, they discover Tarot cards and possible clues in verse. The poetry community is in an uproar by the time police confirm murders are being committed. Soon Laura’s life is also at risk as she attempts to find the killer. From high tea at a mansion to Zen tea at a bachelor pad, from a barroom open mike to an upper crust feast at a vineyard, Poetic License to Kill provides a satiric romp through Portland as Laura Ryan tries to find suspects in the poetry and Tarot communities. Can Zoe Chang Ryan, a Sherlock Holmes buff and brilliant fiddle player, help her mother catch a murderer before that killer catches
them?
